Sweet Treats

A little sweet treat from Aunt Lisa and Uncle Boik
and little lion Hudson!

Lisa made these cute little candy jars and gave them out
to our kids. Such a neat idea, the kids loved them!
Thanks guys:)

Happy Halloween!!

Well another down:) Kamdyn was dressed as a lion this year he actually went out and walked to some of the houses on our block! Bruce dropped him off and kept truckin' with the rest of the group. Danny and Stephanie come over every year and the guys take the kids out and we stay and pass out the candy. It's fun seeing all the kids in their costumes:)
I even got into the dressing up just a little:)
Couldn't keep it on for long though, it got too hot!!

Here they all are before heading out!

Shane and his candy.

Bruce passing out candy before heading out with the kids.
Oh and this post-totally backwards!
So we will work backwards from tonight back to Fri. afternoon;)
Shane in his Scarecrow costume.
People thought he was part of the decor
then he would move a little and they
would be surprised:)
He loved it!
These were the bags we made this year for candy.
This is Shane's I thought it was very cool, he put glitter for the eyes!
Soo cool:)
Shane and Katiera's bags.

All the kids and an attempt to get a decent picture:)
See Max has Black paint all over his legs:)

Tiera putting hand prints on hers.

Max and finger painting ;)

Look at Bruce in full "kids + paint" gear! lol
Kamdyn loved doing this, he was so amazed when he put his hand down and it stayed there:)
So cute!

At Katiera's class party.

Katiera and one of her good friends, Audrey.
They were at the cookie decorating station getting frosting and goodies.

More of the same:)

In Shane's classroom.
We had to split our time between their classrooms
So in Shane's we just basically just helped out with passing out food
and watched them play a game.
The game was pretty cool Lay out big pieces of paper pour some
M&Ms and give the kids straws and cups.
They suck on the straw to get a candy and drop it into the cup.
The classroom was pretty quiet for awhile;)
There is Shane's teacher there in the background, her name is Lola and she totally fits the name! She has such cool, laid back style of teaching:)
So funny, during the game 1 kid came up to saying they needed more
candy on their paper and she was like "Nah just shove in and get more there's plenty there!"
I thought when have ya ever heard a teacher talk like that?!?!
LOL
Cheesing!
Ya want some Mom?
Such a sweetie;)
Another really post!

Helping Out

I actually got to volunteer in Katiera's class! I've always wanted to but with the 2 little boys...
it doesn't always work out so good:) I didn't actually have to go in and do it at school which is key to being a stay at home mom and still somehow contributing to the kids school. So the teacher called to see if I wanted to help with the Halloween party and I told her I would like to especially if she had something I could do at home. She was so excited cuz she had these bats that she was trying to get around to but didn't seem to be happening! Perfect for me, I love crafting! These were soo cute I thought I'd share them with all of you. All you need is some felt for the wing and moon, some pom poms for the body, some googly eyes for well you know;), and some pins to make them into bat pins. Oh and some hot glue!

Here they all are!

Today when we went in for the party all the kids were wearing them:)
Sooo cute and very easy!

More Harvest Party

Judy brought a craft for all the lady driver's- Keychain wristlets. She sewed them all and had them ready for decorating! Very cute and fun little project which has already come in quite handy!

Here is mine waiting to heat the little gems to make them stick.

Judy explaing what we need to do.

This little machine heated the gems.

The guys during our craft "watching" the kids;)

Judy also brought scarf making stuff for the little girls.
She's so thoughtful:)
Lily and Ella above
and Katiera below.
She actually did all the work for it, I was very impressed!
She absolutely loves it!

Harvest Party
Much anticipated and gone already!
Here are a few pictures of this years events....

Kamdyn snagged somebody's coffee:)
"what???"
LOL

Pumpkin carving...
Evan and Shane

Anita and her son Joshua.

Max with his "widdle punkin" ;)

Katiera the Feathered Fairy Princess
carving her pumpkin.

Shane carving his pumpkin face:)

Somebody's got school spirit!
Merissa's boyfriend Steven's cutout, I thought it looked cool
sitting among all the pumpkin insides! lol

I even got into it!
Not voluntarily though-stinkin kids...
Always insisting on having a pumpkin to carve
but when it comes down to the actual work..
well as you can see...
Ah well whatever it makes up for all the pumpkin carving
I missed out on as a kid:)
As it went into evening it got really cold,
so Joshua got all bundled up!

Caramel apples mmmm yum-o!

All kinds of different things to dip into:)
Whew!
I just realized how long this post is!!
Stay with me I'm almost done....
well half-way anyway;)
Hudson got a major kick out of Max sharing his apple with him!
So cute!
Max would put it up to Hudson's mouth and Hudson would laugh hysterically!
I think some of the caramel was tickling his lips:)
The little girls with their caramel apples.
From left:
Heidi, Ella, Katiera, and Mackaila.

Here is a not so great shot of my Pumpkin Pie Bite's that I said I was gonna make:)
Yummmy...definitely make these people!!
Especially for Thanksgiving.
They were a little time consuming but sooo worth it!

Oh yeah I also made these adorable Ghost cake pops
from once again Bakerella
I'll post a better shot of both if I remember;)

Pin the nose on the pumpkin!
Now how fun is that right;)
Well Shane is standing right next to me and he says
"It was alot of fun!"
While the kiddo's were pinning noses us "adults";) were playing
a very rousing game of
How well do you know your spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend?
Some very interesting and somewhat disturbing{;)} answers were given,
some not to be read aloud...you know who you are*wink, wink*!
Teehee!
ANYWHOOO....I've got more for ya'all tomorrow:)
Enjoy!
