All Partied Out!

Whew! Thank goodness it's over:) My 2 oldest kids Shane and Katiera have birthdays 5 days apart so we always do their parties as 1 big one. So far they don't seem to mind:) Yay for me! Once again we had a backyard pool party- for party favors I had each kid "tie-dye" their own T-shirt, I had 2 big chalkboards set up with buckets of sidewalk chalk, water balloons and of course bunches of pool toys! It was a ton of fun and a uh err i mean a little stress!! lol The kids loved it and thats all that matters! Somebody over the course of the last few days (can't remember who) asked me why I go to all the trouble...and I said its too see those faces!! Not just those of my own kids (soo cute) but all the other s that make the effort of coming. i love seeing their smiles it just makes it all worth it! Plus my Grandma ALWAYS made a big deal out our birthdays when we were kids! So I want to pass that joy and love onto my kids:) Ill have pictures for ya'll soon I'll also link the how to on the tie dye(sooo easy and lots of fun) i'm having issues with my camera again! This time it fell out of the van onto the driveway:( Hopefully i can figure out another way to upload them! Catch ya later!;)

i think its awesome that you keep going with the birthday parties and carrying on grandma's tradition! the kids will never forget the stuff you do for them now and they'll want to do it for your grandkids....wow thats odd sorry didn't mean to scare you talking about grandkids!! ;)
